Cross Cultural Family Center is looking for dedicated Early Childhood Teachers for our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool Program!
We operate 13 child development centers in San Francisco County that serve families with infant and toddler, preschoolers, and afterschool children. Our centers are located throughout San Francisco in the Tenderloin, Western Addition, Hayes Valley, Potrero Hill, Richmond, and Visitacion Valley neighborhoods. Diverse cultures and languages among staff and families are celebrated in our programs and highly influence learning environments and teaching strategies. Programs provide both part day and full day child development and care. Cross Cultural Family Center is looking for qualified, dedicated, and nurturing teaching staff to join our agency.
Positions: Infant, Toddlers, and Preschool Teachers
Responsibilities include: provide positive guidance and nurturance through interactions with children; plan and implement daily learning experiences/activities and maintain a culturally responsive & developmentally appropriate learning environment that address the interests and needs for each child; observe, reflect, and respond to children’s interests and developmental readiness, develop and maintain positive relationships with children’s families; work as a team member with other teachers and program staff.
Qualifications:
- A current Child Development Teacher Permit or higher issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- Completed at least 15+ units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development including the core college coursework in Child Development; Child, Family, and Community; Curriculum/Programs
- Minimum one full year experience in infant, toddler or preschool care in group settings
- Associate’s degree in Child Development or related studies, a plus
- Bilingual / multilingual welcomed
Salary range: $28-$36 per hour based on California Child Development Permit, degree level, and qualifying experiences.
