The Middle School Technology Instructor will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and rigorous Technology curriculum aligned with state standards and the school's instructional model. Technology Teacher Responsibilities:
- Analyzing all prescribed texts and resources to develop quality lesson plans and curricula.
- Delivering engaging lessons guided by the school and state curriculum.
- Grading exams, tests, quizzes, assignments, and presentations, and contacting parents and other faculty members to discuss concerns and schedule interventions.
- Sourcing guest speakers and organizing events and educational field trips.
- Ensuring all curriculum, school, and state requirements are met.
- Providing extra support to struggling students and additional resources to those who display exceptional interest in technology.
- Using digital technology to improve learning and keep accurate student records.
- Constantly expanding educational networks and participating in workshops, lectures, and other learning opportunities.
Technology Teacher Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in the content area or a similar discipline.
- A master’s degree is preferable.
- Teaching certification, highly preferred
- 1-year of Teaching (Required)
- 1-3 years knowledge of Relevant Teaching Subject Area
- A relevant certification or license may be required.
- A completed apprenticeship or experience as a teacher's aid is recommended.
- A passion for technology and the ability to inspire students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to engage with young people and develop lesson plans that resonate with them.
- The willingness to work overtime.
- Compassion and a personable manner.
- Resilience and the ability to work with students from multiple backgrounds.

More Job Details and Compensation:
The following ranges are tentative and are subject to change based on the annual budget approved by the Board of Directors:
- *Salary Range: $51,000 - $61,000
- Job Type: Full-time, Salary Exempt position
- 10-month Work Calendar
