We are looking for an experienced Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food, drinks and hookah, setting up tables, and providing friendly customer service. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a team environment, and be able to handle stressful situations with ease.
Qualifications
Ability to perform basic math skills
Responsible to ensure accurate accounting of all bar monies and independent banking procedures
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years experience in a high-volume nightclub/ Hookah lounge
21+ years of age
Possession of/or ability to possess a valid TABC card and FOOD HANDLER TRAINING CERTIFICATE
POS systems knowledge
Liquor knowledge: spirits, beer & wine
Position specific duties knowledge

Responsibilities
Cocktail Servers are responsible for beverage service of all VIP tables and seating areas in a high-volume restaurant, bar, lounge or pool
Assists the department head with the training/mentoring of new Employees as requested
Maintains all assigned wardrobe/costumes in accordance with established standards
Markets the nightclub, restaurant, lounge, and hookah and services offered to a targeted Guest base
Focuses on the development of a personal clientele list
Performs in a public relations capacity when promoting The Company
Requests identification from Guests when legal age is questioned and works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior Guest service at all times
Performs other duties as requested
Interact and entertain Guests in a professional, cordial and exemplary manner
Greet and serve Guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude
Respond to Guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
Anticipate Guest needs
Provide Guests with information and directions
Working knowledge of portion control and product identification
Answer questions about our food, beverages and other Company functions and services
Inform Guests of specials and menu changes
Adhere to all The Company Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain all The Company Sequence of Service Standards
Provide information to Guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing
Recognize and cultivate regular Guests and repeat business
Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift
Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations
Respond to Guest concerns/complaints regarding service or beverages and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude
Ability to communicate in English with Guests and co-workers
Take bottle menu, beverage, food, and bar orders from table Guests and communicates orders to the service bar through POS terminal
Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence
Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications
Up sells and suggestively sells menu items, specials and beverages at all times
Check beverage and food orders prior to serving to ensure that they are correct, properly presented and that special requests have been met
Garnish any and all beverages as needed per Company Standards and Recipes
Prompt delivery of all beverages to appropriate tables and sections
Handle multiple tables and tasks in an efficient and pro-active manner
Responsible Alcohol Management
Recognize and acknowledge when Guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated
Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive Guests and promptly bring to a Managers attention
Refuse further service of alcohol to intoxicated Guests in a courteous and safety-minded manner
Comply with all state and federal liquor laws
Comply with all safety and health department procedures as well as Company and/or departmental policies/procedures
Responsible for checking the identification of Guests and following all other responsible vending guidelines
CLEANLINESS and maintenance
Keep tabletops, floors and service areas clean/free of dirty glasses, dirty ashtrays, trash and any unnecessary items throughout shift
Keep service station, service equipment and storage clean and organized
Ensure daily/nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed
Maintain opening, running and closing service equipment par
Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a Manager immediately
Ensure that all tables and chairs are set correctly and clean
Maintain Company Safety and Sanitation Standards
Clean all spills and waste immediately
Safely transport service items from table areas to back of house or service station
Disposes trash in proper receptacles
Transports dishes and glasses to kitchen for washing
Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture and hygiene
Adhere to all safety, health and sanitation guidelines
Polish and wash glassware throughout shift
Cash Handling RESPONSIBILITIES
Accuracy in handling monetary transactions, including counting back change to the guest
Follows all cash register and cash/credit card handling procedures as required for the position
Prepare Guest checks through POS terminal functions
Process Guest payment by cash, Credit card, venue comps and all other tender types
Responsible for proper check out procedures
Participates in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, Banquet service functions, and performs model/presenter tasks
Participates in in-house marketing campaigns and advertising
Assist in the development of promotional plans in order to increase business levels and sales
Pose for pictures as requested by Management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue
Participate and appear in marketing, publicity or media materials
Participate in marketing or promotional activities at or away from the venue
Maintain Social platforms as indicated by management
Post events, communications and participate in marketing campaigns via social media
Able to submit Guest to the venues guest list
Able to submit table reservations
Pay: $10 to $15 hr including tips
