A typical day is fast paced and allows you to have autonomy in the way you structure your work and plan out your days. You will have the opportunity to work directly with formerly homeless families that really need the support in a program that has the resources to provide it! This program supports the mental health, housing, childcare and social/emotional needs of 40 families in Bergen County. To be successful in this role we are looking for self-starters who love meeting and engaging with new and diverse groups of people. This position is both office and community based with a real focus on meeting people in their homes to work directly on the goals they have set for themselves.

Pay: Union scale (commensurate with experience and education)

Reports to: Assistant Director, Community Based Services
Education: At least one of the following: B. A. or B.S. Degree from an accredited College or University in a mental health related discipline. Two years of college plus two years related work or life experience. A high school diploma or equivalent plus four years or related work or life experience.
Other: A current valid driver's license.
Physical: Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate, treat, and monitor client needs, recognize clients, and maintain accurate records. Fine motor skills for legible written documentation and use of keyboard. Ability to work required hours and fulfill job requirements. Basic computer and word processing skills.
Benefits:
· 5 personal days per year for FT employees (Front loaded each January).
