Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students who require specialized learning methods and support. This role involves creating individualized education plans and providing tailored instruction to meet the unique needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning
- Provide support in areas such as behavior management, classroom management, and speech therapy
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- State certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with deaf education and early intervention programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student requirements
- Prior experience in toddler care, daycare, or similar settings is a plus

Pay: $54,133.00 - $55,887.00 per year
