Position Overview for the Data Scientist:
- Data Science Leadership: Utilize your leadership skills and data science expertise to create real-world impact, collaborating closely with clients across various sectors to understand their questions and needs, guiding teammates, and leading the development of algorithms and systems.
- Problem-Solving with Data: Dive into data-rich environments to uncover insights and solutions to global challenges, leveraging IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to turn complex data sets into actionable information.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their specific challenges and objectives, translating their requirements into data-driven solutions that inform informed decision-making.
- Objective Decision Support: Employ a combination of tools and frameworks to transform disparate data points into objective answers, providing clients with a deep understanding of the data and its implications, empowering them to make informed decisions.
Required Skills for the Data Scientist:
- Data Analysis Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in various aspects of data science, including data exploration, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and mining, with the ability to analyze both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Programming Skills: Possess experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis, along with the ability to develop algorithms using languages like R, Python, or SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Predictive Modeling Knowledge: Exhibit knowledge of predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization techniques applied to targeted data sources, enabling informed decision-making and insights extraction.
- Security Clearance: Hold a Secret clearance, with a preference for candidates with Top Secret clearance, demonstrating eligibility to work with sensitive data in government or security-related projects.

Compensation Details: $140,000 to $160,000
