We're seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive continuous growth in sales revenue. Reinforce the coaching and training of our “Sales Process” for the creation, development, and growth of accounts

Expand sales into a diverse customer base, representing all segments

Manage customer relationships for key accounts and prospects

Monitor regional sales efforts and determine the necessity for account coverage, increased call frequency, etc.

Oversee the consistent use of customer relationship management (CRM) systems
-
Manage appropriate activity and sales to achieve forecast
-
Respond to customer calls as needed
-
Make decisions to advertise and/or promote specific products by market
-
Establish and monitor sales expenses and budgets on a consistent basis

Work with Segment Managers to develop, monitor, and achieve segment targets and goals

Develop regional plans that support Company sales plans and operational objectives

Work with the General Manager to establish and monitor pricing policies and resulting gross margins
-
Recruit, hire, and train employees for specific roles within the outside sales department

Mentor, grow, and develop the regional salesforce
-
Monitor and provide feedback on employee performance

Document and administer performance reviews and authorize merit increases

Education
A high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline; In the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience serving in an industrial sales management role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement
Experience & Skills

At least 8 years of prior industrial sales management experience with proven experience meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Experience with overhead lifting/rigging products is a plus

Ability to prepare reports on sales forecasts, market trends, competitors’ actions, and new product developments

Requires a results-oriented individual (“hunter” mentality) who is able, detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined

A proven track record of building and maintaining effective customer relationships within different organizations to meet or exceed established goals for product sales

Demonstrated strong organizational abilities, prior experience utilizing a Customer Relationship Management system for business information tracking

Must be able to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds

Requires solid written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Valid driver’s license in good standing that meets company requirements

Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required

Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required

Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task

Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
