Job Summary:
ARC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide expert therapy for individuals with autism. The BCBA will be instrumental in conducting behavioral assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing direct support and supervision within our clinical team.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment Planning
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyses.
- Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing ABA principles.
- Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on data and client progress.
- Clinical Supervision
- Supervise, train, and mentor behavior technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Provide regular performance feedback and professional development support to clinical staff.
- Collaboration and Coordination
- Work collaboratively with families to incorporate their goals and values into treatment plans.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy.
- Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all clinical activities.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards of care.
- Family and Caregiver Training
- Lead family training sessions to generalize skills in the home and community settings.
- Empower caregivers with strategies to support the individual's behavioral health.
- Ongoing Professional Development
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of ABA.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses.
- Data Analysis and Utilization
- Collect and analyze treatment data to guide clinical decision-making.
- Utilize specialized software for data collection to predict and enhance clinical outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
- Active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with autism or related disorders.
- Proficient in designing and implementing comprehensive ABA programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a clinical team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
