Job Description
SUMMARY
Carry out, coordinate, and supervise all clubhouse repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment, furniture, masonry, and building structures. Supervise any maintenance and housekeeping staff, part-time or full-time. Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Documenting processes and keeping maintenance records.
Examine rooms and furnishings to determine whether they require repairs or restoration.
Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems while working closely with the Facilities Coordinator and
Clubhouse Manager to track expenses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Coordinates the servicing and repairing of systems for lighting, heating, ventilating, fire detection, drainage, and pumping.
2. Observe the property in detail and create priority lists with expected completion dates.
3. In-depth knowledge of the clubhouse needs and implements both in and off-season policies & and procedures as well as winterization and opening checklists for staff to follow easily.
4. Monitors all work done by outside contractors and communicates the status of each project to the General Manager.
5. Makes cost estimates for budgeting/contract review purposes.
6. Schedules staff according to business levels and has a strong understanding of time utilization.
7. Maintains accurate maintenance and repair records of equipment and machinery.
8. Hires, supervises, schedules, trains and evaluates Maintenance and Housekeeping
Staff.
9. Ensures that all building maintenance, repair, and cleaning activities are identified, scheduled, and completed.
10. Be available to respond to emergencies day or night.
11. Create and maintain logs to track progress.
12. Manages inventory of cleaning, maintenance, repair and related supplies.
13. Assists with the preparation of special functions, parties, tournaments, etc.
14. Helps develop and maintain a resource management plan which outlines short-term and long-term requirements for repair and maintenance, capital replacement and capital requirements.
15. Ensures a highly efficient pro-active safety program with an emphasis on awareness, discipline, and compliance; implements an overall safety program that conforms to
OSHA standards (exclusive of the Golf Course Maintenance Program).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises all maintenance and housekeeping staff as needed.
QUALITIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. Detail-orientated, highly organized individual with an ability to prioritize projects.
2. Strong communication and ability to work closely with a team.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in facility coordination, project management, or related field.
4. Extensive experience in building and equipment maintenance.
5. Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning and schedules.
6. Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies.
7. In-depth knowledge of building safety regulations and security protocols.
8. Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
9. Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, minor electrical and other building systems.
10. Proficiency with repair tools, techniques, wall repairs, etc.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Time management, organization, and prioritization abilities.
13. Ability to lift heavy equipment.
14. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 10 years experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role, or other related general construction experience. Certification in HVAC, Plumbing,
Electrical and appropriate Pool Manager for Chemical Administration a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
