Job Description: Summary: As a Cloud Developer specializing in AWS, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing serverless architectures. Your expertise in Python programming, RESTful APIs, and AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB will be essential in delivering scalable and efficient cloud solutions.Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team including onsite and offshore developers, business analysts, and testers.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop robust, scalable solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating with third-party APIs as needed.
- Implement AWS cloud solutions following best practices using services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Utilize no SQL databases like DynamoDB and SQL databases like Snowflake for data management.
- Conduct peer reviews, unit testing, and ensure high code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, management, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on AWS cloud solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language, with demonstrated experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
- Solid understanding of AWS serverless architecture, services, and deployment best practices.
- Experience with no SQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB) and relational databases (e.g., Snowflake) for data storage and retrieval.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.
- Experience in utilities or related industries is beneficial but not required.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines.
