Job Duties
Processes payroll records for all new employees, including W-4 information. Maintains calendar indicating scheduled pay increases and dates when employees are to be added to benefit programs that require payroll deductions. Explains to employees about direct deposit.
Makes any required changes to employee information such as change of address, withholding or regular deductions. Processes child support deductions and garnishments.
Process of manual adjustments, such as grievance payments
Distributes payroll checks, through UPS, US mail or local courier when needed.
Provides payroll reports to clients and internal accounting department.
Maintain accurate records of vacation and floater holidays
Provide customer service to necessary vendors.
Set up and train payroll processing for the Company.
Review weekly timesheets and approve payroll entries.
Audit for accuracy before posting and delivery.
Comply with Court Orders, Garnishments, Tax Liens, and Wage and Hour Laws
Additional Duties as assigned.
Create and analyze various payroll, hours worked, and attendance reports
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's (Preferred), Associates Degree Required
Payroll: 8 years (Preferred), 5 years (Required)
Experience working with timekeeping and/or payroll software systems (ADP) is strongly preferred
Proficient with Google Suite or related software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
