Job Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, you will hold a crucial position in the financial well-being of our diverse clientele. Your role will involve managing day-to-day financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and contributing to projects that enhance our operational efficiency.
- Record daily bank and credit card transactions for various business clients.
- Reconcile monthly bank, credit card, and loan statements.
- File Florida Sales tax for multiple clients.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
- Record journal entries.
- Support clients with ad hoc requests and financial queries.
- Assist team members with assigned projects.
Work Experience & Skills:
- Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience is required.
- Proven experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
- Experience in payroll processing.
- Experience working with cloud-based applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to the continuous improvement of work processes.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset.
- Team player with interactive staff.
CANDIDATES WHO CANNOT DEMONSTRATE AT LEAST TWO YEARS OF QUICKBOOKS ONLINE EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Education:
- An associate's degree in accounting or business administration is required.
