In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and resident satisfaction of our properties. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance tasks: This encompasses plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, ensuring efficient and trouble-free operation of our buildings.
- Facilitating unit turnovers: You'll play a vital role in preparing apartments for new residents, ensuring a smooth and positive move-in experience.
- Participating in on-call duties: Be prepared to respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular business hours.
- Maintaining a clean and well-maintained property: This includes ensuring the upkeep of common areas and contributing to a positive overall environment for our residents.
- Effective communication and collaboration: You'll work closely with the maintenance team and property management to ensure efficient task completion and resident satisfaction.
- Commitment to safety and quality: You'll prioritize safe work practices and maintain a high standard of workmanship in all your tasks.
- Excellent customer service: You'll address resident maintenance concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a positive and responsive relationship.
Qualifications:
- Previous multifamily maintenance experience is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- A demonstrated understanding of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus.
- EPA certification is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Reliable transportation is mandatory.
- Availability for on-call duty is a necessity.
