We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced first-class manual machinist to join our team. As a first-class manual machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision parts and components using manual machine tools.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand machining requirements.
- Set up manual machine tools including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders with precision and accuracy.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices for each machining operation.
- Calculate cutting speeds, feeds, and depths of cuts to achieve desired dimensions and tolerances.
- Operate manual machine tools to fabricate parts to exact specifications, ensuring high quality and adherence to tight tolerances.
- Monitor machining process, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and perform routine maintenance on machine tools as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Requires a meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining principles, and a dedication to quality craftsmanship.
- Proven experience as a first-class manual machinist or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, and machining techniques.
- Excellent mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations for machining operations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
