Primary Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Facilities and Fleet Director, the Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, care and efficient operation of all equipment, fleet and facilities of Houston SPCA campus. Commercial maintenance background with emphasis on HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing is preferred.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Assist in maintaining HVAC systems.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing MEP systems.
- Assist with any other small engine and equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Assist in supervising facilities team.
- Assist in maintaining fleet including trailers, boats, and other emergency equipment.
- Carpentry, door hardware, sheetrock repair and painting experience helpful.
- Assist in keeping maintenance shop and other areas clean and organized.
- Ensure assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
- Maintain the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
- Respond to emergencies which includes disaster response.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and facilities team.
- Provide lead support to the Facilities and Fleet Director in their absence.
