Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer injections, including dermal fillers and vaccines
- Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist with minor procedures, such as wound care and suture removal
- Conduct triage and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced medical office setting
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Experience in a medical office or assisted living facility preferred
- Knowledge of common medical procedures and terminology
- Ability to perform basic nursing skills, such as wound care and medication administration
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Skills:
- Proficient in performing spinal taps and other specialized procedures
- Ability to provide care for patients of all ages, including toddlers and the elderly
- Knowledge of inhalation therapy techniques and equipment
- Strong phlebotomy skills for blood collection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
