We are in search of a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team as we launch urgent care veterinary services within our established practice located in the Northern side of Seattle. We are open to applications from Veterinary Technicians who find joy in their work while delivering excellent care to pets and their owners. You must comfortable handling high-stress situations and emergent presentations, including life-threatening illnesses or injuries. The ideal candidate should be adept at communicating thoroughly and calmly with distraught clients during emergencies, and willing to follow doctor-driven treatment orders for sick/critical patients. This includes tasks such as delivering oxygen therapy, managing hypotension, and running anesthesia in unstable patients. We appreciate individuals who are open to learning new treatment strategies under the supervision of doctors and always approach challenges with a "yes we can" attitude when helping clients and patients in need.
Upon completion of 90 days, our comprehensive compensation package kicks in, offering medical, vision, dental, life insurance, CE, uniforms, pet care discounts, paid time off, and holidays We also offer a retirement plan with company match. The hourly compensation starts at $30.00, and we also provide a $5000 signing bonus.
