Searching for a well trained Expanded Duties Dental Assistant with a wealth of experience. Proficiency and quality are of high importance, as well as ability to work well with others.
```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take clinically acceptable dental x-rays
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques

- Infection control: Knowledge of proper infection control protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment
-Dental coding: Familiarity with dental coding systems to accurately document and bill for dental procedures
- Pediatrics: Ability to work with pediatric patients, providing a comfortable and reassuring environment
- Medical records: Proficiency in maintaining accurate and organized medical and dental records, including patient histories and treatment plans
- Dental assisting: Skilled in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures, including chairside support and instrument handling
- Dentrix: Familiarity with Dentrix dental software for patient charting, treatment planning, and insurance management
- Assisting: Ability to anticipate the needs of the dentist during procedures and provide efficient assistance
- Vital signs: Knowledge of how to measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse rate, and temperature

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
