A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
As the Vice President- Sales, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to meet and exceed Sales targets. You will support the company’s Sales capability to ensure its both proactive and responsive to the needs of our customers, as well as overseeing new business development and delivery of effective solutions to new customers. This role forms part of the Leadership team and contributes to the overall strategic and operational success of the Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Global Sales Team Leadership
- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-caliber global sales team, driving them to exceed sales targets through strategic leadership and a focus on both leading indicators and sales outcomes.
- Embed a culture of high performance and continuous improvement in sales techniques, ensuring adaptability and proactivity throughout the sales cycle.
Strategic Sales Management and Execution
- Craft and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that encompasses innovative approaches to meet and exceed targets within Acquire BPO’s extensive service offerings.
- Directly engage with sales opportunities, leading by example to showcase effective closing techniques and hands-on sales expertise.
Process and Performance Optimization
- Oversee the sales processes, ensuring the team’s adherence to best practices via coaching and development.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the sales team’s productivity and outcomes, implementing measures for consistent improvement.
- Ensure fiscal discipline within the sales operations by monitoring expenditures and aligning resource allocation with strategic objectives to maximize sales impact.
Collaborative Sales Strategy and Enablement
- Champion the development and implementation of comprehensive sales support tools and resources, ensuring the sales team is equipped to effectively engage with prospects and clients.
- Foster a collaborative environment with the marketing department and other relevant teams to align sales strategies with Acquire BPO’s market positioning and brand messaging, enhancing the impact and coherence of sales initiatives.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Achievement of Sales Targets - Meeting or surpassing individual and team sales targets regularly.
Sales Team Growth and Retention - Successful recruitment and retention of talent, ensuring their development and engagement.
Sales Pipeline Development - Expansion and conversion of the sales pipeline, indicating a healthy and accurate flow of prospective business.
Client Expansion and Profit Realization - Drive client account growth and achieve or surpass expected profit margins.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIRMENTS
Proven Sales Leadership
- Demonstrated leadership ability in managing global sales teams, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior sales role.
- Track record of recruiting and developing successful sales professionals in a B2B environment, and leading teams to meet and exceed sales targets.
Strategic and Operational Sales Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, processes, and operations, with hands-on experience in B2B sales and closing significant deals.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics, with previous experience in Business Process Outsourcing industries being highly desirable.
Travel Requirement
Availability to travel as needed to support global sales initiatives and team development.
