Position Overview:
As an Architectural Designer at TNGA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the built environment across a diverse range of projects. You will collaborate closely with our experienced team of architects, engineers, and clients to conceptualize, develop, and execute design solutions that not only meet functional and aesthetic requirements but also push the boundaries of innovation and sustainability. Candidate should have the ability to create a set of construction documents in AutoCAD and assist in managing projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Candidate must have between 5 to 6 years of experience in the industry.
- Applicant MUST be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.
- Candidate should have experience in all phases of architecture, including schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction administration.
- Candidates should have detailing knowledge, experience with consultants and building
departments, experience with California and knowledge of current California building codes.
- Candidates should have excellent communication skills, including the ability to understand and follow complex verbal and written instructions, interact effectively to maintain a team environment, and lead projects if necessary.
- Must be self-sufficient in managing time and balancing multiple projects at different stages simultaneously.
- Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual presentations via Revit or SketchUp required (also Photoshop preferred).
Job Type: Full-time onsite with option to transition to hybrid after 90 day period if candidate successfully shows their understanding of their role.
Experience:
- Architectural: minimum 4 years (Required)
- Degree: Bachelor's in Architecture (Required)
- Licensed Architect preferred, but not necessary
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED accreditation is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
