Aerospace Supply Chain and Field Support

We have an opportunity to support our company in a variety of aspects of the commercial and military aviation line support business, both in the supply chain/logistics and line maintenance areas. This role could be of interest to someone growing in the Supply Chain and Logistics areas or someone with a goal of getting an A&P certification.
Working for the premier global provider of on-wing jet engine compressor wash services! EcoServices, LLC, a joint venture of ST Engineering North America and Pratt & Whitney Line Maintenance Services, Inc.(www.ecopower.aero), this position is supporting both our Logistics Manager and our aviation technicians at airfield in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX region. The home base for this location is in Irving, TX. The primary role this position is to support supply chain and logistics activities including, but not be limited to:
- Process and prepare parts orders from external and internal customers.
- Monitor warehouse stock and ensure proper stock levels, including maintaining the warehouse reorder point.
- Complete shipping and related paperwork such as export and commercial invoices.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory control activities including learning various related software systems.
- Complete diary logs into inventory and report/investigate any discrepancies in the warehouse.
- Operate a forklift.
- Cover for the Logistics Manager if not in office.
· Support local facilities maintenance and related upkeep activities.
· Engage with our continuous improvement of service center processes.
Secondarily, this job role will support our EcoPower jet engine compressor wash program as labor support for our A&P mechanics doing engine washes at several local airfields, as requested by the Station Manager. This job is a safety sensitive position requiring the candidate to be in our FAA Drug and Alcohol testing pool. The tasks required include, but are not limited to:
· Assistance of the A&P technician at the airfield with the set-up of the EcoPower equipment including preparing/assembling any of the EcoPower related support items such the sampling cups, engine inlet mats (lanyards, streamers) and other related items.
· Assisting with the movement of the equipment around the airfield.
· Other activities related to the engine wash process as directed by the technician or Station Manager.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Dayshift (Core hours negotiable). The logistics support role is the primary role, but supporting engine washes make be required, at the request of the station manager, during part of 2 to 3 days in a week.

Technical Requirements and Experience:
- Must hold a valid & current U.S. driver's license.
- Some familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to comfortably lift (under 50 lbs.), Bend, Twist
- Forklift experience
- Some experience with shipping/logistics
- MS Office
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Compensation will be based upon education and experience, including military aviation mechanic experience. This position is entitled to overtime pay, compliant with federal and Texas labor laws and regulations. Salary levels are commensurate with experience.
