Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from beginning to end. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed within budget and on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all construction activities
- Manage subcontractors and construction site personnel
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and OSHA guidelines
- Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to design standards
- Manage project budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and vendors
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, procedures, and best practices
- Familiarity with construction software such as Procore and Foundation
- Strong understanding of quality control principles in construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Proficient in budgeting and cost management for construction projects
