As a Pastry Cook, you are responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver a memorable guest experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsibilities
- Read, prepare and present high quality recipes and baked goods, utilizing seasonal flavors, colors, and textures
- Prepare and decorate pastries, Danishes, and other baked goods for the hotel outlets
- Baking from scratch and utilizing premade products to make them unique through icing, decorating, etc.
- Comply with hotel, city, count, and state fire, food safety and sanitation regulations/standards.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
- Being aware of department targets and goals and striving to achieve them as part of the culinary team.
