The Senior Copywriter will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's voice and messaging across various channels and leading a copywriter team across brands. You will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging performance-oriented written content, across all Dave Asprey Group brands, that effectively communicates our message, attracts and retains consumers, and drives business goals. Ideally, this person is passionate about health and nutrition and is interested in or intrigued with biohacking to achieve optimal mental and physical performance.
The ideal personality for this role is a scrappy, curious, creative, meticulous, analytical and results oriented individual, seamlessly adapting your writing style to various audiences and crafting captivating content that resonates deeply. You possess the resilience to handle setbacks and continually strive for improvement, all while maintaining a strong sense of ethics and integrity in your work.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Voice Development: Develop and own the brand voice across each brand in the Asprey Group portfolio in collaboration with marketing
- Audience Understanding: Continuously conduct research to understand our target audience, their needs, and preferences to tailor messaging effectively.
- Content Creation: Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including the podcast, website, paid media, email campaigns, social media posts, advertisements, product descriptions, and more.
- Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of content strategies, including brainstorming creative ideas and contributing to content calendars.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all copy aligns with the Dave Asprey Group voice, maintaining a consistent tone, style, and messaging across all channels and platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Lifestyle and Media, 40 Years of Zen, Upgrade Labs and CPG to create integrated and impactful campaigns.
- Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit copy for accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- SEO Optimization: Incorporate SEO best practices to optimize copy for search engines and increase organic traffic.
- Lead, manage and train copywriting team in customer research, brand voice, and technical copywriting skills

Job Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
- 7+ years experience as a copywriter, preferably in marketing or a similar role
- Experience hiring and developing a copywriting team required
- Portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples across different media
- Exceptional performance oriented writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Experience in leveraging AI tools for speed and efficiency
- Familiarity with SEO and keyword research tools
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate original ideas
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- High level of self-reliance, capable of completing tasks without constant supervision
- Resilient, with a strong ability to tolerate high-pressure circumstances
- Interest in biohacking and know the lingo even if you’re not an expert
Hours of Work & Working Conditions:
The Senior Copywriter typically works 9:00 am to 5:00 pm PST. The Senior Copywriter works remotely from a professional home office. The physical requirements of the position typically include sitting computer work.
Compensation:
Based on this position and the requirements above we are offering a salary of $105,000 for this position.
Benefits:
We offer 16 days of paid vacation, sick pay and holiday pay. In addition, as an employer we pay 100% of our employees premiums for Medical, Dental, Vision.
