The Outside Sales Estimator is a critical position within Bull Structures LLC. Outside Sales Estimators are responsible for providing accurate and competitive building quotes in a timely manner while following standard company practices and procedures. Outside Sales Estimators are responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that we know everything required to successfully bid and win the project. This is a sales with support in operations position; aiding Bull Structures LLC Project Managers for commercial or conventional projects.

Computer Skills:
· Experience any estimating program is desirable.
· Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.

Industry Skills:
· General knowledge of all construction methods and theories is necessary.
· Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
· Ability to interpret specifications and identify exclusions or qualifications as required.
· Comfortable with composing contractual language to clearly define the scope of work.
Expectations:
· Thoroughly review proposals and ask follow up questions.
· Thoroughly review drawings and specifications and ask follow up questions.
· Review Design changes and modify quote accordingly.
· Obtain subcontractor or vendor buy-outs.
· Have complete understanding of the scope prepared for each proposal.
· Provide all supporting documentation related to a signed contract to the Project Management team in a timely manner.
· Review plans, specifications, and designs with Project Management teams to highlight areas of concern.
· Review job cost with Project Management teams and highlight any buy outs that still need to be awarded.
· Generate a Quotation/Contract Form that is complete and ready to send to the customer. The Quotation/Contract Form will include the entire scope of the material and services being provided by Whirlwind. Exclusions and qualifications to specific items not provided by Whirlwind are considered to be part of a completed Quotation/Contract.
