DUTIES
- You will serve as operator-in-charge of the complete plant, on second and third shift
- You will independently start, operate, adjust, stop, maintain, and perform various operational repairs in multiple-fuel (oil and natural gas) power boilers and associated auxiliary and pollution control equipment
- You will check measurement devices (e.g., feed water regulators, flow meters, flue gas temperature gauges, water level indicators) to determine if boilers are operating within prescribed limits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR EACH LEVEL:
Journeymen Level I (WG-08):
- Basic knowledge of boiler equipment, valve operations/alignment, & system operations
- 2+ yrs experience in boiler plant operations;
- Ability to read & interpret gagues;
- Basic knowledge of water treatment analysis to include: water Ph; silica; water conductivity;
- Knowledge & understanding of equipment safety limitations along with max/min system operations;
- Basic knowledge/awareness of OSHA requirements;
