Responsibilities:
About the Role:
The Vice President, Infrastructure Services, will be responsible for overseeing the company's Microsoft ecosystem, including O365, Active Directory, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, and related technologies. This role also encompasses the management of voice and data networks, data center operations, and F5 load balancers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft technologies, extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, and a strategic mindset to enhance our technological capabilities.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the strategic planning, development, and operations of Microsoft platforms (O365, Active Directory, MS Teams, MS SharePoint) to support business objectives
- Oversee the management and optimization of the company's voice and data network, ensuring robust and secure communications
- Direct the operations of the data center, focusing on scalability, performance, and security
- Manage F5 load balancers and other critical network components to ensure high availability and optimal performance of applications and services
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain security measures, compliance, and best practices across all platforms and infrastructure
- Drive innovation and efficiency through the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, processes, and methodologies
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) for IT infrastructure and services
- Develop and manage the budget for IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance business operations and digital transformation initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
What makes you a dream candidate?
- Understanding of SD-WAN, software-defined networking
- Knowledge of cloud networking in major platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric (ECX Fabric) and it’s API’s
- Understanding of Hybrid Cloud Architecture
- Understanding of application performance through traffic engineering, load balancing, and bandwidth management
- Understanding of Microsoft M365 applications (eg, Teams, Sharepoint, Exchange Online, One-Drive)
- Ability to apply structured analysis methods to various types of data to establish trends, determine variability and business impact
- Ability to approach problems with an open-mind, use existing information and resources
- Ability to think strategically and make collaborative decisions
- Ability to effectively negotiate with vendors on upgrades and acquisitions
- Advanced technical writing and analytical skills
- Communicates quickly, clearly, concisely, appropriately and intelligently
- Effective planning, time management, negotiation and delegation skills
- Foster open communication, speaks with impact, listens to others and writes effectively
- Expert level IT security processes and controls knowledge as well as IT infrastructure and networking technical knowledge
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
- Greater than 10 years experience in related IT field and experience required
- 5-7 years financial services company experience required
- 5-7 years previous management experience required
