Haiku Veterinary Clinic is seeking energetic individuals to join our reception team! Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills, be compassionate and enthusiastic with a positive attitude, and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills. Advancement and management opportunities are available after a reasonable time in the position.
This position entails scheduling appointments, interacting with clients (in person and via phone/email), cash handling, inventory, and attention to detail. We aim to provide the best care for our furry friends.
Our front office staff are the first people our clients speak with on the phone, the first they encounter when they walk through the door and the last people they interact with when checking out.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet clients over the phone and in person with a smile in the voice
- Handle multi-line phone system and accurately take detailed messages
- Handle stress and pressure with poise and tact
- Prioritize tasks to maximize client satisfaction
- Understand and explain internal/external parasite prevention products, as well as diets and medications
- Able to manage an appointment schedule
- Manage cash and credit card transactions and process end of day procedures
- Sorting and sending mail
- Be a compassionate listener
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
