The Assistant Manager will assist with animal care, data entry, scheduling and confirming appointments / reservations, greeting all pet parents and dogs, and working closely with the General Manager for all day-to-day functions. Supports Mission, Vision and Values of Destination Pet. Supervise and assist team of animal care technicians and customer service representatives. Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency. Train and evaluate employees. Resolve escalated customer complaints. Set up evaluations of new dogs. Maintain a positive work setting. Serve as the manager onsite when General Manager is not available. Ensures that bank deposits are completed as needed.
