Our event operations associate helps our team prepare for events and reset following events. This may include anything from reviewing event plans, performing site visits, getting our venues ready for the next event, creating our gorgeous displays and action stations, setting up photo shoots, preparing for client tastings, and working on initiatives to improve our operations functions. It's a robust development role that is meant to grow the right person into an Event Operations Lead and prepare you for a career in event operations.

Instead, you'll be expected to take on a "lean" mindset where we write down our process, structure and solve problems, and find creative ways to get to the right answer.
This position is part-time but complements other part-time event roles well and can be used to fill out a schedule during the day (and get priority access to event work).
Success in this role generally looks like:
- Experience in either off-premise catering or a large banquet facility
- An analytical mindset that likes breaking down and solving complex problems with impact-oriented solutions
- Previous history in putting together productions (theater, event planning/ agency, music)
- An aesthetic sense in creating displays that have height, depth, harmonious composition, and themes pushed to interesting conclusions
- Exemplify a positive attitude and a constructive approach to dealing with realities that present themselves onsite
- Clear and concise communication
- Physical ability to move event equipment for significant stretches, including loading, unloading, packing, unpacking, cleaning, repairing, etc
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation - expect travel around LA and down to our venue in Long Beach
- Able to read English and follow laid out instructions and process
- Able to write process - comfortable with a computer
- Physically Fit -- Able to stand and work on your feet for extended hours
- Lift 50 Lbs. waist high repeatedly
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in dynamic work environment
Compensation
Base rate of $22.00/hour
Higher rates and bonuses for working events.
