Board certified behavioral analyst (BCBA)
Position Title: Board certified behavioral analyst (BCBA) – Outpatient Children Services (EIDBI)
The position will require you to provide professional services to children affected by ASD. The BCBA works in combination with other mental health practitioners in order to provide the best assistance possible to children with ASD. The BCBA will work with the rest of the team to help design, deliver and evaluate the individual care plans of each child.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify challenging behaviors and develop functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans (ITPs) based on ABA principles.
- Consult with Clinical Supervisors to maintain the quality of cases through ABA data analysis
- Develop an ITP monitoring report for all clients and submit it for approval
- Document all services provided in the person’s case notes and/or health care plan as specified in EIDBI
- Supervise and train behavior technicians (BTs) in implementing ITP with fidelity.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions to optimize treatment plans.
- Provide family/caregiver training and counseling, as determined by the qualified service provider guideline and identified in the person’s ITP
- Prepare and maintain detailed progress notes and treatment documentation.
- Stay up to date on current best practices in ABA therapy and train staff accordingly
Qualifications & Requirements:
Candidates for this position will be required to meet the following requirement
- Have a doctoral or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development or related fields
- Have at least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) or a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
