Title: Purchasing Specialist.
Classification: Non-Exempt.
Pay Rate: $22/hr.
Reports to: Senior Purchasing Manager.
Responsibilities:

Daily performance of vendor-product ordering process.

Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships, facilitating clear communication.

Initiate orders, coordinating intake schedules efficiently.
-
Inventory oversight, maintaining PAR levels.
-
Generate and dispatch product allocations based on each store’s individual needs.
-
Verify incoming delivery quantities against METRC manifests for accuracy.
-
Accurately capture purchasing invoices for daily submission to Accounting.
-
Routine collaboration with other departments, ensuring smooth handoffs for various internal processes.

Maintain an organized ordering schedule and manage delivery cadence effectively.

Collaborate with the Senior Purchasing Manager to implement price adjustments and onboard new SKUs.

Track and promptly communicate vendor outages or fulfillment issues to the Purchasing team.

Address and resolve Quality Concerns tickets from the Retail teams.

Undertake occasional front desk duties, including vendor check-ins/outs.

Handle incoming phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.

Ensure all necessary teams receive copies of the vendor invoices.

Assist with additional general administrative and departmental tasks, as needed.
Requirements:

OLCC Handlers Permit.
-
Reliable transportation.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

On-site at APW Warehouse.

Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
