Marijuana Packaging is looking to add motivated Business Development professionals to our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in entering a fast paced, growth industry and establishing the next chapter in their professional career.
Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed sales plan for territory and grow business through customer and project identification
- Support current base of assigned customers with day to day orders and projects.
- Develop, produce, and present sales proposals to customers
- Work with design and marketing team to offer creative solution-based programs and products for customers
- Source new accounts through direct customer interaction, past relationships, cold calling, and social media
- Utilize industry leads to identify and interact with key decision-makers.
- Ability to communicate value proposition at all levels and functions of clientele.
- Responsible for the appropriate and timely completion of all field reports such as daily/weekly reports, as well as administrative tasks as required by the position
- Ensure a positive customer experience by educating, cross-selling, upselling customers on services and products
- Quantify and sell opportunities within the organization to gain commercial and functional support
Qualifications
- Previous call center experience strongly desired
- 2+ years of successful sales experience in a call center or inside sales position
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry a plus but it is not required
- B2B sales experience
- Proven sales track record of meeting & exceeding sales goals
- Highly organized and efficient
- Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships
- Excellent written and oral skills required
- Ability to thrive in a competitive environment
- A high level of energy and commitment to achieving your sales goals
- Willingness to learn specifics of packaging and industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a deep desire to control your own income (no cap!)
