The Scheduling and Planning Coordinator will work closely with all functional areas to ensure system issues are resolved in an effective and efficient manner. Lead the cycle counting and material handling efforts across the operation to ensure a smooth flow of products supporting required service levels.
Requirements:
We are searching for a candidate with:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing/warehousing/distribution.
- Experience in inventory control/production planning/cycle counting required
- MRP/ERP and CPQ system experience required
- Visual 9, Tacton, Kebrite, Docuware experience a plus
- Exceptional data management and analytical skills - ERP Maintenance, inventory queries, excel pivot/formulas
- Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning experience a plus.
- Strong MS Office suite computer skills
- Working in a union environment a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast fast-paced environment a must.

Duties and Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Operations Leader for Product Data integrity - CPQ, V9, Docuware, KeBrite.
- Operational point person for all Product data updates, issues, and complaints.
- Analyze GAL processes and procedures for efficiency, effectiveness, and overall customer satisfaction
- Train business system users in specified areas as required i.e., Work order completion, updates to system, etc.
- Works closely with production and engineering teams to collect and communicate material master data for BOMS, routings, and rates
- Inventory Leader leading cycle counting programs, variance reconciliation, and transaction controls.
- Identify the root cause of variances and implement systematic improvements and procedures.
- Maintain inventory location system for location accuracy and physical conditions.
- Oversee stock rotation procedures and processes. Utilize FIFO mentality for the consumption
- Supports efforts to manage excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory. Ensure alignment with the finance team on adjustments and write-offs.
- Lead/Support continuous improvement efforts in Inventory Reduction and Material Flow.
- Provide analytical support and direction to the operations and materials organizations.
- Prepare and distribute inventory reports. This would include inventory levels, inventory health, excess, obsolete, slow-moving, customer satisfaction, etc.
- Develop, document, and train team members on relevant business systems. Specifically providing support for inventory and transaction control.
- Lead/Co-Lead Physical Inventory
- Supervise Material handling teams across the manufacturing area.
