The Patriotic Pig started out in 2016 as a BBQ caterer and has become very well known as one of the premier wedding caterers in the DFW area catering over 500 weddings per year. We've grown fast since 2016, going from caterer, to food truck, to a restaurant in North Richland Hills. We are looking for Counter Staff that enjoy serving and engaging customers. Our Line Server position consists of:
- Assist with setting up the serving line in the mornings by stocking take-out containers, portioning BBQ sauces, portioning pickles and onions for our sandwiches and BBQ plates, prepping salads, chopping onions and cilantro for our tacos, slicing and packaging cheesecakes.
- Assist with packing to-go orders from DoorDash, UberEats & GrubHub.
- Replenish the line after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush.
- Break down boxes and empty trash throughout the shift.
- Thoroughly clean the serving line at the end of the shift.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality. Customer Service is a MUST. If you you don't enjoy dealing with people, please do not apply. The ideal candidate will be HIGHLY RELAIBLE, punctual, and self-motivated. They must be able to multitask while still upholding our high standards of quality, cleanliness and customer service.
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Pay: $12-15 per hour base pay PLUS SHARED TIP POOL (Additional $5-6 per hour average). After tips, all of our Counter Staff easily makes $17+ per hour.
Preferred experience:
- Restaurant Serving Line Experience: 2+ years
OR
- Waiter / Waitress Experience: 2+ years
Requirements
- Must be available to work on Sundays
- Must have or be able to pass a Food Handlers Exam within 7 days of starting
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
