Position Summary
The Eligibility & Waitlist Manager will provide day-to-day oversight and direction to a team to effectively manage the waitlist and eligibility processes while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires the ability to plan, develop, implement, and monitor the assigned waitlists. Additionally, this role has the direct responsibility to foster a culture of customer service excellence, monitor production, ensure appropriate quality controls, and data integrity of transactions to drive positive outcomes.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and provide direction to the Eligibility & Waitlist team to ensure efficiency and adherence to program compliance requirements.

Oversee and maintain waitlists for the Housing Choice Voucher program.

Streamline and develop template correspondence with applicants on the waitlist.

Maintain all application records per programmatic requirements.

Track unit performance using appropriate data sets to meet monthly unit goals.

Identify and implement operational efficiencies.

Oversee and conduct applicant outreach, eligibility reviews, interviews, issue vouchers, and lease-up voucher holders.

Respond to requests for information from management, program monitors, auditors, and all other partners.

Coordinate with other internal teams to ensure effective operations.

Complete introductory and annual performance evaluations for direct reports.

Support the Assistant Directors on special assignments as requested.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. social work, sociology, political science, business management)

Proven time management, multi-tasking, and attention to detail skillset.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of working well with others.

Proactive, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
