Job Purpose
The position of Regional Sales Account Manager is responsible for the account management, development, and sales of the organization's products in a specified region or major geographical area and provides ongoing support to the product distribution channel. Requires substantial knowledge of items sold.

Essential Functions
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Develops and increases company revenue to meet assigned sales targets.
- Is actively involved in account management.
- Contact regular and prospective customers via phone calls and emails to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Consult with clients after purchase or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
- Involved in closing purchases and developing marketing plans for contract accounts.
- Assists with the planning of sales exhibits.
- Attends trade shows.
- Participates in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
- Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.
- Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining and assisting new accounts.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Education and Experience
Years of Experience Required
- Two years of account management retail related experience, or;
- Three years of account management experience with a wholesale organization.
- Four years of first responder or military experience PREFERRED
- High School/G.E.D
