THE JOB:
Growth Sales Manager with experience in the “Emergency Management” and Government sector.
You’ll be responsible for launching and growing Peak10’s Emergency Management, B2B, Wholesale, and Government sales channels. Be a part of the leadership team and report directly to Owner/CEO. The new Sales Manager role will support our young Business to Business division, which is the fastest growing area of the company. Peak10 which was founded in 2009, also sells preparedness products ‘direct to consumer’ on the e-commerce store SurvivalFrog.com.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop new B2B lead systems, including outbound phone work
- Develop and maintain relationships in the Emergency Management market
- Bid writing, close sales & account management
- Maintain data reporting, forecasting and analysis
- Manage and grow the department, hiring, training
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years direct experience in Emergency Management, Safety, Business Continuity
- Experience in B2B Sales
- Experience with Government sales, bid writing, etc
YOU SHOULD BE…
- Able to move and think fast. Juggling multiple projects while handling the day to day activities.
- Organized and love to document and create systems, doesn’t let things fall through cracks.
- Curious, and wanting to learn & grow (personally and professionally). Willing to push yourself with challenging projects.
- Proficient with Excel, love data analysis and good with forecasting
- Abie to work from home and remain focused and efficient. Having a home office area with strong internet.
- Willingness to travel to attend conferences, and meet with VIP customers. 4-5 times a year
- Tech savvy and a quick learner of new software.
- Easy to work with, no drama, team player, fun to be around.
- Preferred, but not required to live near Denver, Colorado. Ability to attend in-person meetings in Denver as needed.
THE MONEY:
- $80K to $120K (base, plus commissions)
- Profit sharing bonuses, could push compensation much higher
- Potential for Employee Equity after a few years on the job

Peak10 was founded in 2009 as a publishing company, and now operates SurvivalFrog.com, an industry leader in the preparedness “direct to consumer” space. The B2B division which is hiring this Sales Manager position is only 1 year old and growing fast. We’re looking for someone with Emergency Management experience that can help us scale this thing.
Most of our work is done remotely, although we do have an office in Denver for the occasional in person meeting. We use Slack, Asana, and video calls to keep the communication lines open and working together efficiently. We do annual company retreats, camping trips, and like to have fun. Peak10 is a small business with an amazing team of 10 people. We’re small, but we do big things.
