The Account Executive, Virtual Sales will develop professional relationships with key referral sources in a specified geography by utilizing value selling techniques. The role will be responsible for meeting specific revenue goals in the assigned territory. Primary responsibility includes prospecting, developing, and nurturing long-term relationships with referral sources. Provide high levels of service, thereby elevating HCD to a first choice position for all referral sources. Must be driven to succeed, passionate about educating referral sources, thorough in follow-up, and skilled in basic selling techniques. The Account Executive will take a lead role in
cross-selling product lines and introducing new products and/or services to respective referral sources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Must consistently meet or exceed assigned revenue goals
Direct and coordinate all sales activities within designated territories. Creates penetration plans and initiatives in territories.
Actively prospect for new referral sources in assigned territories and present the HCD value proposition.
Plans, coordinates and executes presentations to providers and/or medical organizations.
Pro-actively call referral source contacts to ensure their needs are being met and to source additional referrals.
Customize the services provided to each referral source to ensure exceptional service.
Cultivates strong relationships with health plans and their case managers.
Leverages marketing and sales tools to identify solutions and sell to new customers.
Act as the liaison between the referral sources and other HCD departments in troubleshooting customer issues.
Identify and recommend improvements to internal processes and procedures to increase customer/referral satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with other internal functions to resolve service issues.
Report activity, trends and overall service results.
Maintain a robust pipeline of new business prospects and actively move them through the stages of the sale.
Maintains up-to-date client information in designated customer relationship management (CRM) tool (i.e.,
Saleslogix). Utilizes CRM tool to document interactions with clients and ensures effective management of leads.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES
- B.S. or B. A. degree or equivalent industry experience, preferred.
- 2+ years minimum of inside sales experience with a proven ability to deliver results.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and effectively nurturing long-term relationships.
- Articulate and professional with an enthusiastic attitude and focus on results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good understanding of the sales process.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing customer demands.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance a plus.
