Training will be conducted by Lead RBT and Board- Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Behavior technicians will be trained in the concepts of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This includes (but not limited to) concepts of positive and negative reinforcement, functions of behavior, daily data collection, and assent based procedures.
Once 40-hour training is completed, behavior technician will take a competency assessment administered by BCBA and a Registered Behavior Technician exam through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
