DESCRIPTION:
A Lab Assistant performs clerical and specimen processing work and draws blood from patients.
EXPERIENCE:
- Familiarity with lab terminology, knowledge of basic mathematics, use of calculator, typing/keyboard skills.
- Knowledge of streets and locations of various doctors’ offices preferred. Marketing experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- N.Y.S. driver’s license; ability to be insured Medical Center’s insurance carrier; registered, reliable personally owned vehicle to use for work.
- Phlebotomy certificate from an approved school or one year phlebotomy experience.
EDUCATION:
- High school graduate
- One year Phlebotomy Experience or Phlebotomy Certificate

Pay: $18.82 - $24.33 per hour
