Responsibilities:
- Support and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
- Administer basic first aid when necessary
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a positive learning environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students in a childcare setting, such as babysitting, nannying, or daycare
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies
- Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care and support for toddlers
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to handle challenging behaviors with empathy
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to create engaging and educational lesson plans for young children
