LaCore Nutraceuticals is a leading provider of high-quality nutraceutical products known for their commitment to excellence and innovation. We are seeking an entry level Inventory Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued growth.
Position Summary:
Manage warehouse inventory by performing daily cycle counts and completing inventory reconciliations. Provide support to the Shipping/Receiving team by receiving incoming materials and preparing shipment documentation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accurately track and report on inventory levels and movement using the Warehouse Management System.
· Regularly perform physical inventory counts and complete inventory reconciliations.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory related issues and optimize inventory management processes.
· Locate and retrieve materials and/or finished goods as needed.
· Conduct quality checks on existing inventory; discard inventory that does not meet company standards.
· Operates pallet jacks (manual/electric) and fork lift.
· Follow written instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
· Be punctual and maintain good attendance.
· Performs other job duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Must have a valid Texas driver's license.
· Ability to operate a pallet jack (manual/electric).
· Successfully pass the forklift test and obtain certification.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
· Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Be collaborative and work well in a team-oriented environment.
· Proficient use of Warehouse Management System software.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills, being fluent and proficient in the English language. (Bilingual is a plus).
· Possess strong mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
· Willing to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· A minimum of six months (one year preferred) experience working in shipping/receiving or a warehouse environment.
· A minimum of six months (one year preferred) experience operating a forklift.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Constantly (up to 10 hours) stand, walk, and use hands/fingers throughout the shift.
· Constantly (up to 10 hours) lift/carry up to 55 pounds.
· Constantly (up to 10 hours) push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance.
