Job Title: I&E Technician

Overview: The I&E Technician will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of instrument and electrical control systems.
Responsibilities:
· Installing, repairing, and servicing transmitters, valves, flow meters, and other various items on control systems.
· Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing or replacing instrument and control components to ensure systems function safely and efficiently.
· Performs preventative and general maintenance on electronic, electrical and pneumatic equipment and parts associated with this equipment (which includes working near energized circuits)
· Interpreting blueprints and drawing rough sketches when required.
· Run conduit, pull wire, change motors, maintains lighting systems and basic motor controls.
· Sourcing and/or fabricating replacement instrument and electrical systems.
· Obtaining required permits, equipment, tools, and materials for Projects.
· Observing company safety guidelines, documenting each project and updating records, providing material cost and time estimates.
· Updating project/plant records along with preparing test reports for customer or governing authorities.
· Providing assistance during plant outages.
Skills & Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience as an I&E Field Technician

· This position is located in Houston, the Baytown area.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
