The Job at a Glance
The Project Manager is primarily responsible for the planning and execution of the most complex, cross-functional, cross-department and member impact projects across the organization. Their efforts will translate company strategies into action, deliver ROI, reduce risk, and achieve enterprise-wide strategic objectives.
This responsibility includes defining, owning, and improving Process Management methods (standard work, requirements, and outcomes) to be adapted by processes and process owners throughout the organization to drive innovative process improvements and business results.
They shall serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and spearhead innovative solutions, while partnering with key support functions throughout the duration of the project, acting as the lead and centralized point of contact. They will ensure all tasks are completed while promoting a risk-aware culture and ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. They will maintain strong communication with the PMO team and report to the VP of Program Management.
A Typical Day
- Develops and communicates initiative roadmaps, schedules, and tools using Asana. Leads updates and presentations to project team and executive management.
- Develops relationships with key stakeholders necessary to deliver results, including all levels of management.
- Partner with executives, operational leaders and process owners to translate vision into an executable plan while overseeing the project and acting as the project manager / lead.

Ability to hold project team members accountable for on-time completion and quality of project deliverables and milestones.
- Collaborates across departments to understand customer and business needs and requirements.

Conducts analyses of current state, drive root-cause-analyses, develops insights, identify solutions, designs future states, and deliver solutions with sustainable results.
- Defines and analyzes metrics that align with process management operations. Creates scorecards, monitors scorecard performances, identifies, and communicates gaps, identifies solutions, oversees implementation, and develops control plans. Ensures solutions are maintained.
- Creative ability to identify innovative solutions with structured plan for implementation to simplify and automate process management methods (standard work, requirements, outcomes).

Knowledge in scope management, requirements management, resource management, communications management, risk management, quality management, financial management, and business continuity management.
- Identify key stakeholders, leverage their talents, and cultivate an energetic and engaging project plan by delivering constructive feedback with courage and candor. Set clear performance standards.
- Operate as a thought leader and champion of the vision and strategy by actively collaborating and engaging with business partners.
- Strong ability to positively influence others across functional areas and achieve buy-in to drive cultural and organizational change initiatives.
- Make discretionary decisions based on research with certain degree of creativity and latitude.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with 6 years of related experience or 8+ years of related experience and/or training
