Position Title: Service Technician
The Service Technician will be primarily responsible for providing service to our homecare division as well as service assistance and general support as needed for the overall operations of the company. Specific duties and responsibilities will cover the following areas:
Property Inspections:
- Provide weekly inspections at Home Check, identify and follow up on any issues noted during inspection.
- Perform rental unit inspections, check for guest damage, complete the inspection checklist, set out welcome gift and ensure that the unit is ready for the next rental guest.
- Perform HOA inspections, check for damage, Aesthetic issues and violations of the governing documents. complete the inspection checklist, set out welcome gift and ensure that the unit is ready for the next rental guest.
- Provide weekly hot tub maintenance and inspections at applicable Home Check properties.
- Complete weekly report for Home Check clients and submit electronically via Streamline System.
- Communicate any service requests and repair work needed to manager and coordinate work as needed at HOA's, Rentals and Home checks.
General Maintenance:
- Ensure all service work is identified, reported, completed and billed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate any additional services or repairs requested by the owner or identified during inspections with the Service Team. Follow the SOP for creating work orders, communicate repairs with team and homeowners.
- Manage records for all work orders including billable time and materials, date work was completed and notes regarding repair.
- Communicate any issues that arise with work orders and coordinate with management to find a resolution.
- Outsource work orders to subcontractors and specialist as needed (due to business volumes, priorities, schedules, and required skillsets). Follow the work order through to completion including coordinating with all parties to schedule the work, inspecting all work to ensure it is completed to standards, approving of invoices for billing and communicating with all parties when the work is completed.
- Schedule and oversee annual service that is requested and approved by residential home checks clients. Examples of annual service work includes landscaping, invasive weed/rodent control, snow removal, carpet/window cleaning, etc.
- On-call rotation for emergency phone coverage.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for this position will ideally poses 2-3 years of service experience with an employer engaged in property management, rental services, building maintenance or similar service industries. Must poses a valid CO Drivers License and clean driving record. Must be available for weekends, overtime and on-call hours. Physical activity required for position including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling and working in all weather conditions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential. All candidates for this position must demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills, superior organizational abilities and the capacity to work under tight deadlines. Additional core competencies include: Excellent customer service skills, time management skills, strong work ethic with a willingness to learn, work effectively in a team environment, ability to think critically and problem solve and self-motivated with ability to work independently
