Production Assembler Essential Duties:
- Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Performs assembly duties to produce panelized components for modular building assembly.
- Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
- Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
- Needs to be able to read a standard tape measure and apply measurements to proper cut and fit.
- Pulls raw material as needed.
- Applies specialized glue for panel assembly.
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out one or two-step procedures.
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- Cuts special order panes for custom windows, doors and other applications.
- Utilizes plant equipment (industrial panel saw and folding machine, shear machine, fork lift, power tools, glue processor, etc.) as directed.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Conducts quality control checks.
- Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
Job Requirements:
- Physical stamina and strength
- Must be capable at lifting 50 lbs. and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, use both hands with dexterity, reach with arms extended, stoop, kneel and crouch.

Physical Demands:

Schedule:
- 4 Day Work Week Wednesday - Saturday (6:30 am - 4:30 pm)
