The Villas Post-Acute and Senior Living is a community for seniors in the heart of Livermore. Comprised of 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Stratford Villa Post-Acute and Avondale Villa Post-Acute, and 2 Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE), Tuscany Villa Senior Living and Milan Villa Senior Living, our goal with our combined 119 beds is to provide continuity of care for the seniors of Livermore and the Tri-Valley. Avondale Villa Post-Acute is proud to be a Five-Star, Medicare-certified, 37-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located near the heart of downtown Livermore.
We are seeking a committed Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our Skilled Nursing to join our AWESOME TEAM!

- Shift Schedule: Flexible for AM (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) and PM Shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)
- Pay Range: $34 to $38 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents and their families
- Document and maintain accurate patient records daily
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid and active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California.
- Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association
- Must have an active CPR Certification
- Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards is required
- Interest in working with the geriatric population
- Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program.
- Knowledge of the nursing process and standards of care for skilled nursing facilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health records
