Powder Painter Job Description
The Powder Painter is responsible for powder painting parts, verifying thickness, inspection and clean-up of paint room and equipment. Hours are Monday through Friday 5A to 1P.
Powder Painter Responsibilities:
· Paint and inspect parts in manual and auto booth.
· Monitor and adjust line speed to achieve maximum quality and quantity as indicated in part planning (shop paper).
· Clean spray booths and all areas of paint room for color changes to avoid contamination.
· Record and monitor paint usage to achieve budgeted limits per financial report.
· Assist in racking and inspecting when necessary.
Requirements:
· Detail oriented
· Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
· Ability to follow directions
· Prior powder painting experience preferred
· Solid attendance
Painter Wage:
· Starting pay ranging to $23.35 per hour with Bonus and Shift Premium
Manufacturing Inspector Benefits:

Pay: $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
