The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and offers a full spectrum of investment services that includes Chase Wealth Management, serving clients from branches, J.P. Morgan Advisors, advising clients from home offices, a new hybrid advisory unit called Personal Advisors, and Self-Directed Investing - our online investing platform. The combined business has ~$700 billion in assets under Management and ~5,000 advisors who work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices, across 48 states.
As a Retirement Desk Team Leader within the Wealth Management division, you will be responsible for coaching, managing, and leading a team of licensed Retirement Consultants. Your primary focus will be to provide an exceptional and welcoming experience for prospective investors, existing clients, and advisors by identifying the best financial solutions for them. You and your team will work closely with clients and prospects, focusing on retirement relationships to meet their comprehensive service needs. You will guide clients towards the products, services, and platforms that best suit their financial needs. Your team will engage in both inbound and outbound phone calls with clients and prospects, and introduce prospective clients to advisors to enhance their overall relationship. Your role is crucial in creating a world-class first impression that nurtures the client relationship while acclimating investors new to Wealth Management. As a successful Team Leader, you will foster a culture of excellence in an environment that meets the high expectations of JPMorgan Chase clients, building deep relationships, promoting a high-performance team, and promoting a client-obsessed culture.
Job responsibilities
You will be responsible for coaching, managing, and leading a team of licensed Retirement Consultants who are expected to consistently deliver in the following ways:

Provide exceptional service and flawless execution on all service requests and inquiries, such as: understanding their digital experience, where to find forms, questions on equity holdings, and transacting on shares
- Become an expert in the different types of retirement accounts and products and be able to articulate these nuances in a professional, easy-to-understand format both written and verbally

Ability to identify potential business opportunities between J.P. Morgan and the client to engage in broader wealth management products/services. You will serve as the gateway to broader financial solutions available.

Effectively collaborate with respective client-facing teams and internal business groups to deliver and execute client transactions

Adhere to and maintain the firm’s controls, policies, procedures, and FINRA regulations. This will include monitoring and adhering to certain SLAs and KPIs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Minimum six years of Financial Services experience with minimum of 1 year in a leadership position.

If you were registered after October 1, 2018, you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam.

A valid and active Series 7 and Series 66 license is required.

FINRA Series 9/10 and CRPC or CFP designation is required. CRPC may be obtained within the first 120 days.
- Strong background in Individual retirement products and technical knowledge of retirement accounts and how they work.
- In-depth knowledge of ERISA, Department of Labor, Best Interest rules, Managed Accounts and Employee Benefit Programs
